Prior to building Passkey Therapeutics as the founding CEO, Bruce had over 30 years of leadership experience in drug discovery, business development, venture, and board roles. For 20 years, he served in multiple R&D leadership roles at Abbott Laboratories and Merck, heading research teams in areas ranging from metabolic disease, infectious disease, chemical genomics, high-throughput screening, and pharmacology. Bruce has also worked at 5 different biotech companies prior to Passkey, in roles that included CSO, CBO, COO, and CEO. He has made more than a dozen deals worth an aggregate value of billions of dollars in roles including Executive Director in business development at Merck, CBO at SQZ Biotechnologies, and at Dewpoint Therapeutics, where he was the founding COO and Strategy & Business Officer. Bruce has also been an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Polaris Innovation Fund and a Venture Partner at Qiming Venture Partners USA, where he supported investment decisions, portfolio companies, and company creation. He received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Will Chen contributes to the development and application of Passkey Therapeutics’ technology platform. He has over 15 years of experience in human genetics, computation and drug discovery, having been in academia, pharma, and biotech. Previously, Will worked with Atlas Venture Partners to create a human genetics focused newco that eventually became part of Triveni Bio, where he continues to serve as a senior advisor. He is also a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Cyrus Biotechnology, a computational and AI protein design therapeutics newco. Previously, at Dewpoint Therapeutics, Will led the creation of a platform for liquid-liquid phase separation drug discovery. Prior to that, at Biogen in the role of Distinguished Investigator, he oversaw a joint experimental and computational human genetics discovery group contributing to the early portfolio. His academic roles at Harvard Medical School and MIT focused on systems pharmacology and mathematical modeling. Will’s academic background is in molecular biology and theoretical physics.

Mandeep Kaur, MD, MS, is Chief Medical Officer at Passkey Therapeutics, where she leads the company’s clinical and medical strategy to advance validation of its computational genetics-based Locksmith® platform. She brings more than 20 years of biopharmaceutical leadership experience spanning clinical development, medical affairs, safety, health outcomes research, regulatory strategy, and commercialization. Prior to joining Passkey, Mandeep served as Senior Vice President of Global Medical Affairs and Outcomes Research for Rare Disease at Amgen following its acquisition of Horizon Therapeutics, where she led global medical strategy across a broad portfolio of rare and ultra-rare diseases, inflammation, and immunology, including TEPEZZA®, KRYSTEXXA®, and UPLIZNA®. She’s held leadership roles at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Sanofi Genzyme, Pfizer, Medicis, and Merz Pharmaceuticals where she helped shape clinical and medical strategies and supported the successful launch of therapies across multiple therapeutic areas including Xeljanz and Dupixent. Over the course of her career, she has contributed to 19 product launches and several major biopharmaceutical acquisitions and integrations. Mandeep earned her medical degree from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and holds an MS in Medical Epidemiology and Methodology from Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
